I grew up listening to my parent’s record collection (Queen, Billy Joel, Cat Stevens, Simon & Garfunkel) and I wanted to explore how those influences could sit alongside modern production, showcasing where I’m heading as a recording artist while staying true to my “story song” roots. I've always loved playing with space and tension when producing songs but also love a good "hands in the air sing-a-long" moment, that's how this track was born.
